You’ve probably heard it over and over, but research continues to show that following five simple healthy lifestyle habits makes a significant difference in life expectancy for both women and men, and the more of them you have, the longer you are likely to live.
Windsor Park recently held a Ladies Luncheon, complete with the fashion show themed “Vintage to Vogue Garden Wedding Party.” There were wedding dresses worn and presented dating from 1908 to 2018! Quite a few of the dresses were modeled by our residents, many of whom donned their original wedding gowns! Children and grandchildren of our residents, as well as employees, also modeled dresses for the group. Residents of Windsor Park were led by fellow resident Jan Smith to participate in the Rotary Club of Carol Stream Food Drive. Four grocery carts were placed around campus and filled up with donations from residents. Food donations and over $200 in monetary donations were brought to the collection site at Glenbard North High School.
